There is an e852 account on both xanadu.physics.indiana.edu and frodo.ccd.bnl.gov. Both of these machine run viewdraw. All trigger editing should be done in these accounts! The current schematics from Dave have been put into SCCS on xanadu, and it's disk is mountedon frodo. In order to edit and existing schematic, use the command : GetTrigDraw -e This will get the newest version of file, reserve it, and put it in the appropriate directory (~e852/powerview/trigger/wir/ and ~e852/powerview/trigger/sch) (Each drawing requires 2 files). You may then startviewdraw and precede normally. When you have made all your changes, the command : DeltaTrigDraw will put the new version of into SCCS. If you have created a new drawing, you should put it into the system: AdminTrigDraw This will put the file into SCCS, and make the "working" copy read only. To get a writable copy, you should reserve a copy with GetTrigDraw. There should never be a writable copy of a drawing unless it has been obtained through GetTrigDraw. A similar set of functions exits for "symbols" (Items is ~e852/powerview/trigger/sym). These are: AdminTrigSym GetTrigSym DeltaTrigSym There use is identical to AdminTrigDraw, etc.. Examples : Have created supertrigger.1, I put it into SCCS : AdminTrigDraw supertrigger.1 Later that day, I realize that I forgot to include any inputs in the drawing, so I want to change it : GetTrigDraw supertrigger.1 I then fire up viewdraw and make my changes. When I am done, I put it back into SCCS DeltaTrigDraw supertrigger.1 Added inputs ^^^^^^^^^^^^ my comment I hope this makes sense. If you have any questions, bugs, or suggestions, please let me know.
