How to Handle UPS Alarms/Trips

What to do:

Is the MG set running? The MG set is OUTSIDE the hut. It is controlled by the large grey cabinet mounted on the wall across from the LGD hut door. Verify that there are 2 (two) glowing lights on the front panel of the cabinet.

• If the lights are BOTH OFF, and the motor does not appear to be running, follow the instruction sheet on the cabinet door to turn it back on.

• If ONE or BOTH lights are ON, and the UPS is still sending the alarm (audible in the hut or control room) call an expert immediately. A phone/pager list should be posted in the control room.
