Accessing the LGD Map
There are several programs available for accessing LGD map data, in addition to the normal Map Manager routines.
-
printADCCables : Prints out the ADC cable assignments and the spare cables for each bundle associated with the ADC. The output goes to ADCCableMap.dat. It contains form-feads and is what is used in the ADC binder in the hut.
-
printBad : Prints out a list of bad or missing channels to the file BadMap.dat.
-
printGroups : Prints out a list of what addresses are used in each group to GroupMap.dat. It also tells you the status of the base (Ok,Bad,Not in wall).
-
printNeeded : Prints a list (to stdout) of what groups can use each address. Also prints a list of bad/missing channels by group. Note that a channel marked bad or missing does not free it to be used in that group (i.e. if the base in group 3 with address 123 is marked bad, base 123 will not be listed as available in group 3).
-
printRowCol : Prints a list of bases and cables ordered by column and to RowColMap.dat. Formatted ready for printing, with each column on a seperate page.
-
printVoltages : Prints a list of the current wall voltages, ordered by channel number, to Voltage.dat.
-
printVoltages2 : Prints list of the channels with voltages set above 1900V to Voltage2.dat.
-
msuhv : The HV control program, when run with no arguments, still allows you to browse the map on a channel by channel basis. See the MSU HV System Software page for more information.
